Matt and Emma Ferguson welcome you to the Queen’s Arms at Breage.
They have extensive experience in the pub and restaurant trade, with Matt coming from the Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe, the Nansloe Manor Hotel in Helston and the Pandora Inn at Restronguet, before managing the Norway Inn at Perranarworthal.
For the last two years they have been running the Taste of the West gold award winning Three Tuns at St Keverne, which becomes a sister pub to the Queen’s Arms.
When not welcoming customers to Breage, Emma can be found writing the Helston Packet newspaper - something she has done for the last 15 years.
Both Matt and Emma grew up on the Lizard Peninsula and have lived in Helston for the last 15 years.
Executive head chef Daniel Ferguson is a self-taught chef with many years' experience in commercial kitchens, including working with a Michelin trained chef.
He has been leading the kitchen at the Three Tuns for the last two years and is delighted to be overseeing a second kitchen.
Daniel draws inspiration from taking classic British pub food and updating it, with an emphasis on hearty meat dishes and fresh fish specials.
Provenance plays an important role when it comes to sourcing his ingredients, which are all grown, reared and caught locally where possible.
Working alongside Daniel is chef Chris Wake. Before moving to Cornwall he ran restaurants in the Cotswolds, including the two-rosetted Seymour House Hotel and Restaurant at Chipping Campden.
